This tour includes all the principals trekking in South Peru. Lima, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Puno, Amantani, Cusco, Horse Riding, River Rafting, Famous Inca Trail to Machupicchu, always surrounded by incredible adventures and natural places.

Day 1: Arrival Lima
Assistance on your arrival in Lima and transfer to your selected hotel. Free time to rest and prepare for starting your trip around this magical country.
Day 2: Lima (B)
In the morning, city tour of the "City of Kings" including the Historical Center of Lima, visiting Main Square, Government Palace, City Hall, the Cathedral (where the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of Peru, is located), Cathedral’s Museum, Temple of San Francisco, Lima Colonial Balconies, Torre Tagle Palace, Paseo de Aguas and Convent de los Descalzos. Then, drive through the residential district of San Isidro, visiting El Olivar Park; Miraflores, visiting the Kennedy Park, Love Park and Larcomar Mall.
Free for lunch. Early in the afternoon, for an excellent overview of Peru's past, visit the Anthropology and Archeological Museum holding the best private collection of pre-Columbian art in Peru. Here are shown many fine examples of textile works, one of which has a world-record 398 threads per inch; the materials and tools that ancient Peruvians used to produce their work in ceramics and metal; Peruvian pottery, gold and silver pieces with semiprecious stones from Pre-Inca and Inca cultures. Return to your selected hotel for overnight.
Day 3: Lima – Arequipa (B)
In the morning, after breakfast, transfer and assistance in your departure from Lima to Arequipa upon arrival, reception, assistance and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon we start a three hour city tour including Santa Catalina Convent, the Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit church of La Compañía and its beautifully-painted chapel, the Church of San Francisco, San Lazaro's district, Selva Alegre and the typical districts of Cayma and Yanahuara for a magnificent view of the Misti Volcano.
Day 4: Arequipa – Colca Canyon – Cabanaconde – San Juan de Choccho – Colca Trek. (B) (L) (D)
6am pick-up at hotel in Arequipa, orientation about our trek and journey of 6 hours to Colca Canyon - Cabanaconde village.
11am brief stop at the Condor Cross - Tapay viewpoint (3600 meters above sea level). Lunch at Cabanaconde (3280m), located in the left rim of the Canyon. Start trekking in the Colca Canyon descending 4 hours to the Colca River (2160m), a difference of 1200 meters. We will cross to the other side of the Canyon and ascend to our family cabins or camping place.
16am arrival to the lodge and short walk to the San Juan de Chuccho village (2300m). Get together with the children and locals from this valley, participation in agricultural and other activities. Campfire, dinner and family lodge
Day 5: San Juan Choccho – Llatica Canyon – Fure Village. (B) (L) (D)
7am continental country breakfast and begin long ascent to our next village called Tapay (3000m). Visit Cosñirhua and Malata (2600m) its church of mixed racial ancestry, sights of the local landscape, very old terraces, snow-capped summits, varieties of flora and fauna.
After six hours hiking into both canyons (Colca & Llatica) passing small rivers, cactus forest, dry and dirty zones, will arrive to Fure village (3100m), located on the left rim of the Llatica canyon with mighty clean river.
2pm have lunch in our family lodge, located over small hill, supported by pre Incas terraces worked by local villages and the best views of this greenness canyon. Free afternoon for rest, to explorer around or you can exchange languages with curious local kids. Breakfast, lunch, dinners and family lodge.
Day 6: Fure Village – Waruro Water Fall – Llahuar. (B) (L) (D)
Before breakfast we will do a short trekking to a nice waterfall of Waruro (80m), is hike is on the right bank of the Llatica river, following small path in the middle of the cactuses, walking over the cliffs and after one hour arrival to the powerful waterfall, completely green and noisy place.
9am breakfast in our lodge and continuing trekking going down to Llatica village and cross the river by an hanging, short explore to this quite place.
2pm we will arrive to deepest area of the Colca canyon. Llahuar (2100m) is a nice place located between Colca and Llatica rivers, one of the best places to get our lunch with nice view of both canyons. The afternoon is free to enjoy and use the thermals pools (hot spring) around the rivers.
Day 7: Lahuar Lodges – Soro Valley – Cabanaconde – Condor Cross – Viewpoint – Chivay – Arequipa. (B) (L)
5am will be our breakfast and short trekking on the left bank of the Colca river, nice trekking crossing abandoned terraces completely cover by cactus, this small valley is called Soro (2050m) and then cross a suspension bridge over the Colca river to the other side and meet the 4x4. From Soro we travel up to Cabanaconde (3285m) by abandoned dirty truck that is 1 hour on our four wheel drive.
8am we will be at the famous Condor Cross (3600m), wait 2 hours maximum for flight of biggest birds in the world. We continue travelling by 4x4 visiting different villages like Achoma, Maca, Achoma, Yanque and Chivay, all them located on the left margin of the Colca River with nice lookout, colony churches, souvenir markets, etc.
12pm we will be getting our lunch in good typical restaurant in Chivay town (3600m) and then travel 4 hours back to Arequipa. 5pm arrival to Arequipa and end our experience.
Day 8: Arequipa – Puno. (B)
At 08.00 am transfer to bus station departure to Puno along the way view beautiful landscape and Andean villages small lakes, mountains drive 5 hours arrival to Puno. Reception in the bus station and transfer to your hotel.
Day 9: Puno – Lake Titicaca – Uros Floating – Amantani Island. (B) (L) (D)
After breakfast, take a two-hour motor boat excursion on the Titicaca Lake waters towards the unique Floating Islands of the Uros, ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the Water Tribe. This Andean natives built their own islands by adding periodically new layers of a unique plant called "totora" (a type of reed), as well as their homes and boats. After experiencing some of the ancient traditions of the local people, continue your motor boat trip to Amantani Island, inhabited by quechua-speaking natives still ruled by their ancient traditions and whose main occupations are the production of ceramics and textiles. The positive energy of this island is so powerful that it is known as the "Love Island". Box lunch. Overnight at the house of a local islander to enjoy the hospitality of a typical Amantani home.
Day 10: Amantani – Taquile Island – Puno. (B) (L)
After breakfast, time at leisure to stroll by the quaint streets of this colorful island. Late morning, take motor-boat towards the Taquile Island, inhabited by quechua-speaking natives who have developed an efficient and original social systems and a fine hand weaving technique through generations. After lunch at a local posada of Taquile, take a walk through the several hills and archaeological sites of this 6km long island. Afternoon, return to Puno for overnight at selected hotel.
Day 11: Puno – Cusco. (B) (L)
Breakfast. Early departure by bus to the City of Cusco. We travel along the High Plateau of the Collao, stopping at the Town of Ayaviri, an important livestock and textile centre, to visit the impressive Temple of Kalasasaya, remnants of the ancient Pucara Culture. On the way, we stop in Raqchi, where we can see a spectacular Inca Sanctuary built by the Inca Pachacutec, and dedicated to the great Inca God of Wiracocha. It has a great central wall with a stone base of fine Inca architecture. Other walls are made of giant adobe bricks. The structure also has two circular lateral columns. Around the Temple are several buildings once used for housing and storage. About 70 km further on, we pass through the La Raya Ranch where we can see herds of vicuñas and llamas. During the trip, we pass by the lovely Wacarpay Lake, offering spectacular views of the mountains reflected in its calm waters.
We proceed to the beautiful Town of Andahuaylillas, and visit the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, better known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, due to its decorated polychrome ceiling.
Buffet lunch in a quiet countryside restaurant, where we can enjoy the delightful culinary art of the region.
Upon arrival in Cusco, meet and transfer to your hotel.
Day 12: Cusco – Nearby ruins by Horse Riding. (B)
After breakfast transfer from your hotel, 20 minutes van ride, to the ranch to meet our horses. While riding on the route we will see, the houses of peasants, fields with different kind of crops, like potatoes ,corn, barley and some llamas coming to Cusco from the Andean villages, along with their owners ,all of them are wearing beautiful dressed for the photos of the tourists in Cusco City. We start our horse riding to Chacan, where we will see the spectacular rainbow, made by a small waterfall and the sun light.
After this view we are going to cross the cave, following the stream, and then we go back to Cusilluchayoc Temple, for about two hours where there will be an hour lunch break.
After lunch we will explore this Inca temple and caves. Then we will cross the last agriculture field. Where you will change the horse ride by van ride to visit the Inca remains on your way back to Cusco and transfer your hotel.
Day 13: Cusco – River Rafting. (B) (L)
Early in the morning we pick you up from your hotel and drive through the Andes to South part of Cusco to Chuquicahuana (1 hour half), here you will receive your safety talk and equipment and you have a fantastic opportunity to raft in some Class III and IV rapids. Here the rapids move and lot faster and they are constant Class III and IV for around 11 kms.
In the take out we dry off and change cloths, we will have a picnic tent lunch at the side of the river. (Toilet facilities). Return to Cusco and transfer your hotel.
Day 14: Cusco – Inca Trail or Alternative Trails. (Salkantay, Lares Mountains) (B) (L) (D)
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco very early in the morning, to take bus to the city of Chilca to begin your trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. After approximately three hours walking you will stop for lunch. Then you will continue walking towards your first camp at Wayllabamba, on the way you will have a guided tour of the archeological complex of Llactapata. Dinner and overnight in tents at the campsite.
Day 15: Wayllabamba – Warmi Huañusca – Pacaymayu. (B) (L) (D)
After breakfast, the toughest part of the trail begin, walking towards the highest point in the Inca Trail where you will have an unbelievable panoramic view of the whole area and will observe different types of microclimates. After a 3 hours walk you will reach the first pass, named Warmiwañusca or Dead Woman's Pass, at approximately 4,200 m.a.s.l. Here, you will have a tremendous feeling of achievement mixed with relief on reaching the top. After lunch you will continue your walking down to Pacaymayo where you will camp and have dinner.
Day 16: Pacaymayu – Runku Racay – Sayacamarka – Wiñaywayna. (B) (L) (D)
After breakfast start the descent towards the second most important pass of the trail at 3,850 m.a.s.l. having a guided visit at the archaeological complex of Runkurakay and the Inca citadel of Sayacmarca. Continue your trekking towards Puya Patamarka (Cloud-level town), another important archaeological monument, where lunch will be served. After a short break you will continue walking to Wiñay Huayna (Forever Young) for a guided visit of this impressive archaeological complex with a spectacular setting. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 17: Wiñaywayna – Machupicchu – Cusco. (B) (L)
After breakfast, have a very early start to arrive in time for sunrise at Machu Picchu. After a one hour walk through the forest towards the Inti Punku or the Gate of the Sun, also known as the Entrance Gate to Machu Picchu, where you will have the most impressive panoramic view of the citadel. Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, three-hours guided tour around the citadel, visiting the main sites and monuments. After the tour you will have free time to wander around, then you will meet with the rest of the group to drive by bus down to Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon, transfer by train to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco transfer to your hotel. Overnight.
Day 18: Cusco – Lima – Home (B)
Early in the morning, transfer to airport to take a flight to Lima. Assistance on arrival in Lima. End of services
